The Railway Recruitment Board has released the exam pattern for the first stage computer-based test for the posts of assistant loco pilots (ALP) and technicians (Group C) under CEN 01/2018.
The first stage or computer-based test of candidates, who applied for the posts of assistant loco pilot and technicians (Group C) under CEN 01/2018, will begin on August 9. They can download their call letter four days before the date of the exam.

The exam will be of one-hour duration and eligible PWD candidates accompanied by a writer will get 80 minutes to write the test.
Candidates will be asked 75 questions 20 from mathematics, 25 from general intelligence, 20 from general science and 10 from general awareness and current affairs.
The board has also given the link for the mock test for first stage CBT and the link to log in and check exam date and city details for assistant loco pilot and technician exam.
The board recently released the application status of the candidates who applied for Group C and Group D posts under CEN 01/2018 (for assistant loco pilot and technicians) and CEN 02/2018 (for various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC).
Around 15 million people have registered for over 89,000 Group C and D jobs advertised by the Indian Railways. Out of this, 26,502 are vacancies for Group C and 62,907 for Group D positions.
